My Sketchbook(:

My overall thoughts on this sketchbook was that it was very colorful and bright. I feel that I did a good job designing this book. I enjoyed making it, but I think I should've used a different bag, so that I could personally design the front cover. So far after the two first sketchbooks, I enjoy drawing in it. I think this was a good idea for us to do. It lets us use our imagination for each drawing we do.

Art Career

     My art career I would like to pursue in doing would be interior design. I choose this because I think that designing a room or house would be fun, especially combining colors and textures and designs. The average salary for an interior designer would depend on where you want to live and become an interior designer. The most you can get is $68,000.

     Duing a Interior design job would consist of creating a room using colors, textures, shapes and designs all together. It would take atleast 2 to 4 years of schooling in the interior design. I'd probably be working by myself unless I have a helper. After looking into interior design I would still want to become an interior designer. I still think it would be fun to do.

Gesture Drawing

My over thoughts on this piece is that I think I did a good job on getting the details it needed. I believe that this is one of the best drawings I did that were people. Usually I cannot draw people at all but when I did this I think I did a pretty good job. The best thing that worked about this project is that I could pick out of any magazines what I wanted to draw. I like being able to choose what I can draw, even though sometimes I can't think of anything to draw. If I was to do this over again I would pick more detailed people because one of the girls is not very detailed. The most difficult part about this project was getting the shaded parts shaded, and using the white to make the lighter areas not so dark. I learned that it is not easy trying to draw someone with so many details in their clothing and getting all the shaded part shaded the right way. 

Winnie the Pooh

                                                                                 I really liked doing this project. It was fun because I love to paint, we got to pick whatever we wanted to draw for this project. I feel that it was the best project that I ever painted, I know it could have been better if I would've took more time but I really think this is good. If I was to do this over again I would probably pick something else to draw instead of Pooh, and like I said earlier I would have took more time to make this look better. The most difficult thing was drawing Pooh and making it bigger to zoom into one certain object because you had to make sure it was the same as your other drawings. I learned that if you take your time during this project it will turn out really good, but if you rush through the painting it gets messed up. I really liked doing this project.

Dot Project

                                Sea Horse

My overall thoughts about this project was that it looks better than I thought it would. When I was working on this project I thought that at the end it would look bad, but it actually doesn't. I liked that we got to use the other end of the paint brush to make this painting. I never thought that the other end of the paint brush could make a painting like this. If I was to do this over again I would make the dots a different color, maybe make them correspond with the Seahorse. The most difficult part was making sure you had the same size of brush for each color. I learned that you can pretty much do anything to make a picture. My favorite thing about this was that we used any colors, any object, and any size of brush to make this project. I would like to do something again like this again. :)

Stool Drawing

On my stool drawing I think I did a good job on it. I think I did a good job on it because it was a hard project that involed looking at the object from a far distance and then have to draw it with the value on it.  What worked about this project was that you didn't have to draw the whole stool, you can draw it at an angle.

Nine Value Squares

I think that I did a good job on this project. I feel like i did an good job on it because I made sure I got most of the value that was in the picture. What worked was that I could pick the pictures I wanted to draw out of a magazine. What didn't work was that sometimes I couldn't get the darker values in the drawing. If I had the chance to do this over, I would get better pictures with more shaded areas. The most difficult thing about this project was trying to find good pictures in the magazines to draw. I learned that drawing these object that every object has lots of details in them.
