Scooby Doo!!

My overall thoughts on this project was that I did a really good job. I never thought that I could have drawn all the characters for Scooby-Doo. The only hard part about drawing this was when I drew out Scooby I had to make sure everyone else lined up to him. Sometimes I had drawn the chacaters either too thin, too fat, too short or too tall. If I could re-do this project I think I would make it so I only drew one of the character and I would just put a lot of detail into it. I believe this is a great piece that I did.

Live. Laugh. Love.

My overall thoughts on this painting was good. I really like this project. I think that I could have made it a better piece but it was done well on the time I spent on it. I thought of this idea because I like the saying live, laugh and love. My plan was to try to have it done before Christmas so I could give it to my mother, but it was not complete before than. I liked this project because I used my own ideas and gave it a personal look. The bad part about this was the white lines, or the swirls, they weren't a complete bold white swirl. If I was to do this project over again I would make sure I took more time and thought on the piece. The worst part about trying to complete this was just having a time limit that I put myself on. I should have spent more time on each detail I put into this art piece. 

What can you do with Crayons?

For a project I wanted to do something with crayons. I descided that I wanted to melt the crayons to make this shooting star effect. To do this I had to paint a star on the board and then get my own crayons and hot glue them to the board and eventually melt the crayons. I love this project. I thought I did a really good job with this. I dont think I would change anything about this project. Maybe I would make the star bigger so there could be more crayons. The most difficult part was hot gluing the crayons to the board and then melting the crayons without making a mess or getting the wax everywhere on the board. This was a fun project. I think that maybe I might try it again but with something a lot more interesting. I learned that you can do a lot of things with art. You can create many different things in art.  

Summer on the Farm

My overall thoughts on this art work would be that it was a pretty easy painting to do. I think that I couldv'e done better than this because there are some spots in this painting that couldv'e been way better. For example, the fense for the barn could have been more straighter. I liked this picture because it represents the summer on a farm. With the sun shinning and the cow eating some grass. If I was to do this over again I would make sure I took more time on it and used better painting skills. Like better brushes and paint colors. There really wasn't anything that was difficult about this project but I think making the cow have the details it should have. I learned that if I take my time on projects they will turn out better. I like this project but it is not the best project I have done or will do.

Animal Water Color

When I did the animal drawing I thought it was cool. The only part I didn't like was the water color part. Water coloring isn't really my thing. I'd rather just paint with regular paint. But this was still fun. I defintiely didn't think that it was going to turn out this good. I really like his eyes and the color of the background. It looks kind of like its in the grass. I don't think I'd want to do another painting with water color.  

Stamp

This project was really cool. I enjoyed making the stamp. The tricky part was making summer backwards on the stamp so it'd show the right way. I think it'd be cool if we were to do this again next year. Another bad thing was that you couldn't get the stamp to turn out perfect.

Tile Project

On the tile project I am working with Sierra Nesen. We chose a pop artist because we liked the style. We want to do something like the picture above but we are going to change somethings. We want to make the background like paint splattered. Like this picture above how it has the spatters of paint on top, we are not sure if we want to do it like that or not. We are going to do the tree and background first then choose if we want to add in the paint splatters on top.
