Sunset

This was a quick project that I was randomly doing. It was something that didn't take time to complete. I think that I should have made a project like this but have it more detailed and way better. The colors of this did blend in so it did look like a sunset. 

Lighthouse

The thought of this idea came from my mom about a month ago. She is really into lighthouses and I thought that it was be a good idea to get this project done before mothers day so I was able to give it to her. She really liked it! I think that I did a really good job on this painting and it is one that I will remember doing forever. I love that I was able to shade the sand, lake, and the sky. It makes it look way better than it would if it was just one color. If I was to redo this project I probably wouldn't change anything about it. The light house could have been more detailed to go along with the rest of the details, but it still looks really good. I enjoyed creating this project because it was fun combining the shades of each color to make it look like it had different shades.

Girl Swinging

This painting was done by water color, in which I don't like using. I thought that it would be simpler to use but I honestly did not like using that. Even though I did not like using water color  My thought for this project was to create an image of a young girl swinging on a wooden swing hanging from a tree. I think that I could have done a better job on this project. If I would have chose something different instead of using water color I would like it way better.

Camo & Deer

For this project I decided that I was going to draw one of the deers that my dad had shot years ago. I think that I did a really good job on this project. I really like that I was able to shade the deer to make it look like it has multiple shades of brown. There is probably nothing that I would change about this project because I really like it and I think that it turned out way better than what I expected. For the background it would have been better if it could have been a shade lighter that way it didn't take away from the actual picture of the deer. If I was to redo this I would make the camo in the background so you couldn't see the color pencil marks.

Bird

I did this project unexpectedly. I did the background just for fun and thought that I should add a drawing to this to make it have some type of background. If I was to redo this project I would make sure that I thought ahead instead of waiting until last mintue to do this. Instead of drawing a bird I think something else would have been a better choice. I don't really like this project because I feel like the background is too much and it takes away from the bird. I should've made the bird more visible.

 

..Dream Catcher..

 

For this project, I decided to paint a dream catcher because I like the look of them. I also thought of painting it purple because it is my favorite color. It was fun creating the different shades of purple. Also, I thought of this quote "Dream as if you'll live forever and live as if you'll die tomorrow," explains a lot about life and how you should live it. I enjoyed making this project. If I was redo this project I don't think I would change anything differently.

~~~ Underwater ~~~

 

 

For this project, I wanted to create an underwater scene. I love the thought of anchors and the boat wheel. Adding the seaweed and the waves made it have better feeling of what the scene was suppose to be. If I could redo this project I would make this different. I would make it so that it was a better underwater scene. I think that I could have added more details to this project.

Eye Sketch

This sketch of an eye was an idea I had that I thought would be something fun to draw. It was a really easy sketch. I made it look like the eye was cught by the light by adding the white spot in the corner of the eye. I think I could've done a better job at this. I don' really like the top eye lashes but they are thick and stand out. If I was to redo this drawing I would make the eye actually have a color, that wa it would give the drawing more detail. Also, I would make the eye brow darker to match the color of the eye lashes. Overall, this was a good drawing that I did. 

Happiness Is The Key to Life.. (:

When I decided to do this project I thought a key would be a good idea to complete this saying. I honestly don't like this project as much as I thought I would. I think I should have took more time on deciding what I really wanted to accomplish in this painting. The design at the bottom was a good idea that I had. The swirls give the project a better look, so that the background is not plain. If I could redo this project I would. It needs more detail. Other than that it was a really good idea that I should've spent more time on.

~Scooby-Doo & Shaggy ~

For this project, I got the idea from my cousin, Kennedy. She is a big Scooby fan, so I decided to paint her a painting of Scooby and Shaggy. It took awhile to get the drawing perfect. There was a lot of things I had to do to get Shaggy the right size. I really enjoyed doing this project because it had challenges such as the challenge of drawing Scooby and Shaggy. If I could redo this painting, I would make the background better. I might incorporate the color sceme of blue and green, instead of poka dots and two shades of blue. Other than drawing, it was was an easy painting to paint.

~ Minnie ~ Mouse ~

My thoughts on making this project was for my cousin Kassidy that loves Minnie Mouse. I think that I did a really good job making this project look good. I spent a lot of time on it. Creating this project I used acrylic paint and a thick board. After I did the background I put some glitter on the wet paint, which you can not see the glitter in this picture. If I was to redo this project I would make it so Minnie was actually laying on something and make it feel like she was an actual picture. The most difficult part about this project was making her look like she was laying down. Also, her black legs crossing were hard to do. Overall, I really like this project.
